Join us at Carver Lake Park on Sunday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a one-day clinic designed to help you progress your skills on the mountain bike.
MTB Skills 201 is for ALL riders who have had formal instruction on the mountain biking fundamentals—i.e., you've completed our MTB Skills 101 clinic or an equivalent skills course. (Unsure if MTB Skills 201 is right for you? Send us an email at info@stoke-mtb.com.)
During our time together, you'll learn progressive mountain biking skills that will help you:
Execute five different types of wheel lifts, including level lifts, with proper technique and timing
Maintain your flow when cornering at high speeds in flat, sweeping corners and berms
Improve your control when braking unexpectedly
Navigate steep roll downs and rollable drops
Stay balanced when stopped or riding at slow speeds using a Trackstand
Bring more stoke to the trail!
We'll practice skills in the grass and, if weather permits, take it to the trail for a group ride. Through it all, you'll get instruction and video feedback from two BICP Level 2 certified coaches, Lisa Martens and Leigh Kramarczuk.
Come take your riding to the next level, so you can shred more of your local singletrack!
Space is limited to 12 riders.
